Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 June 2026
These terms apply to your use of dublinpianotuner.com and to appointments you book through it. The site is operated by Attila Badi, trading as Dublin Piano Tuner, a sole trader registered in Ireland (registered business name number 779656). By using the site or booking an appointment you agree to these terms.
Booking and payment
- You can book an appointment through the site. The price for the service you choose is shown before you pay.
- Payment is taken online through Stripe at the time of booking. Your appointment is confirmed once the booking is paid and a time is agreed.
- Prices on the site are for the services described. Work beyond the booked service (for example a pitch raise on a long neglected piano, or repairs) is discussed with you and agreed before it is carried out.
Rescheduling and cancellation
- To reschedule or cancel, contact us at [email protected] as early as you can. We ask for at least 24 hours notice.
- If you cancel with at least 24 hours notice, we refund any amount you paid. For cancellations with less notice, or a missed appointment, a charge may apply to cover the reserved time.
Our service standard
We carry out tuning and related work to a professional standard and stand over our workmanship. A piano that has not been tuned for a long time may have dropped in pitch and can need a pitch raise followed by a settling period, so the first tuning may not hold perfectly; we will explain this at the appointment.
Access and safety
Please make sure we can safely reach the piano at the agreed address and time. If we cannot gain access at the booked time, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation.
Availability and accuracy
We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide the information on it "as is". Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Irish law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction.
